Hi there! I’m Jamie Flisek. I’m a wife, mother of 2 boys and 1 pup, and a lover of beautiful spaces. I come from a background in Marketing and Branding, but interior design has always been a passion of mine. A few years ago, my family moved back home to Pittsburgh where we were fortunate to build a home in a new construction neighborhood. I spent countless hours scouring the internet, showrooms, and every home store within driving distance to give our home a personal touch. When I finally looked up to take in the spaces I created, I realized design was what I wanted to be doing for a living. I decided to take the leap of leaving my marketing career to turn my passion into my living. I’ve since studied design principles and color theory and created Modern Dwell. Whether it’s through a full room transformation or a simple refresh to a small space, I believe good design is accessible no matter your budget or stage of life, and I’m here to help.
